Available from 30/07/2021 onwards. Both parents are working livestock (chicken) guardian dogs, weigh 35-38kg and have no preexisting health conditions. The parents have been working in the paddocks for several years now and are some of our best protection dogs with great sturdy build and strong drive to protect. These pups have begun their livestock training with chickens from 2 weeks on wards. If you have acreage and a job for them to fulfill these Maremma puppies are perfect for you. Apartments and small backyards are not adequate for their needs. Good fencing is a must as this breed patrols the areas they take care of overnight. Maremma's must never be chained up they get extremely distressed when they aren't able to independently fulfill their duties. They have been bred to free roam with the flock so the human can leave and rest and therefore get distressed when they can't do this.
