These chickens are certified Hybrid Hyline Brown, being a commercial cross between the male Rhode Island Red and the female White Leghorn. When grown the Hline is a docile hen well suited to either the backyard coop or the more commercial operation. They are a light wetght breed that produces large brown eggs with a superior feed to egg ratio. I've bought these from a commercial operation and am raising them in a clean, hands on environment with plenty of stimulation and care for their wellbeing.
